It's a YouTube Christmas - Pt. 1

From time to time this upcoming Christmas season, I'll be posting some amazing videos that have been rescued by people like us and posted at the mecca of all things wonderful and obscure - YouTube.

The inaugural video to start us off is one I never thought would see the light of day - the stuff of urban legend. This is from the 1958 Academy Awards and it teams two icons of different eras - the first is the irrepressible Mae West (whose Christmas album I posted several years ago), the second is Rock Hudson, whose popularity was riding high at the time.

Brace yourself - this is the very definition of "campy fun" as you'll ever see:
