First of all you need to download a twitter background template in PSD format. After you have it, let's play with the design. One of the most important things is choosing the resolution. There are some resolution of the background design. Here I used 1280x800 pixel, because it fits my notebook resolution. And if you want use my design as background, you can download the psd format here. And actually you can edit it, especially change the photo.Once you have the template, just open it on Adobe Photoshop and begin to put all around your design into the Photoshop's canvas. Be sure to place your design on the right place. On these template, there are some colored area where you can place your design work. Wheter you put your design outside the colored area, you will not see what you have done before, because it's part of the twitter main site layouts.
One things that I want to share with you is about the size and the wide area of your background design. May be, you have to fix it in a few times to get the best position when you have upload your background.
