When I look at this picture, I remember a moment in few years ago when I was disappointed with a girl. This picture reflect my frustation condition. But absolutely I don't tell about my old story, I only things that I'm gonna show you is how to make a picture above.
This Photo was taken a few years ago when I went to Nungnung waterfall at the north of Sangeh in Badung regency. How can it looks like this? It just need a 'smart' layer positioning. To make this design I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. For the first step, We have to edit the photo on Photoshop. Prepare this photo into 2 part, the black and white photo and the color one. After that, edit the colored photo and give some color effects. I use some of the color replacement effect on photoshop, and it works. Now, combine both of the black-white and the colored photos, which the black-white placed on the back of colored photo. Erase some area on the colored photo to give some black and white effects. In this case I've erased the right and left side of the waterfall. It's give a 'fire' effects to the waterfall.
Turn your software into Adobe Illustrator, It's time to adding some cool and awesome ornament ti the picture. First, place the photo that have been edited, add one more the same photo, make it at the top of layer, and be sure that it's on the same position. Now let's make a clipping mask of the top photo. Select whole the model's body with pen tool to make a body-shape. Then with the photo and body selected, make a clipping mask and you will see the top photo will be croped.
After all basic process, now give some cool ornaments into the photo. Place it between the model and base picture's layer. It will deliver some realistic effects. The ornaments will looks like appears from the back of model. In case, the wings ornaments is the example. I used a building ornaments behind the model to make it more delicious. You just need a building picture, the trace it using the autotrace tool in Illustrator then paste in the design You've made. Don't forget to color it first as made it match with the background color. Adding the grunge ornaments also make it interesting. I've added it, such as the grunge's brush.
